Ron Paul Sign Waving

A little over a week ago, I went to a Ron Paul sign waving on the I94 foot bridge. I brought an old camcorder and my Zoom h4n. The video and audio quality didn't end up nearly good as I had hoped. It was breezy, and I didn't have a windscreen for my Zoom, so I used an athletic ankle sock as a makeshift screen. The video was recorded on a DV tape which had already been used, so I ended up with lots of artifacting, and choppy and windy audio. I grabbed the footage and quickly put together this video. I consider this experimental. I learned a couple of important things. First, never record over a used DV tape if you want good video quality, and second an athletic ankle sock helps reduce wind noise, but does not provide nearly the level of wind noise reduction as an actual windscreen. Anyway, here is the video!

More coming soon!

"Hugin" panorama photo stitcher test

This is the first sequence of images that I imported. The preview didn't seem to be working, but I didn't look around the program much to see if I was missing some settings for the preview window. I just went to the end of the process and had the program do the stitch. I think it turned out pretty well, considering I didn't do any manual adjusting for this image.
